Queen of Angels School Newsletter, June 6, 2007 Dear Parents, At this time of year, the students are excited about their summer days of fun and vacation, and so they seem to have more energy. I find this time of year exciting, too, because it gives me a the chance to look back at all the wonderful things that have happened over the course of the school year. I know that my faith is stronger because I had the chance to share faith experiences with your child and the rest of the students in the school. You, though, have played the most important role in your child's learning this year. You put faith into action every day. It is your own commitment to living a faithful Christian life that has taught your child the most about the Catholic faith. I admire you greatly for that, and feel deeply privileged for having had the chance to share in the faith life of your child throughout this past year. Please enjoy the gift of your children this summer and make some memories that you each will share for many years to come. Remember to encourage your child to read each day, at least 20 minutes, for it is so very important. Finally, continue to pray at meals and other times as a family. Prayer is the key to developing our relationship with Christ, and when balanced with growth in our faith helps us to grow in our love of Christ and our ability to bring him to others in the world. God bless you and have a safe, enjoyable summer! Mrs. Jordan Live in the Spirit |
