What is SCRIP?

 SCRIP is a way for you to pay for all your normal everyday expenses in a way that earns money in the form of rebates!  SCRIP is a way to earn money on what you are already buying instead of buying other fundraising items you may not want or need.

Local and national companies sell us gift cards and certificates at a reduced cost which you buy from us at full face value. You use these gift cards to pay for all your normal expenses: gasoline, groceries, dining, fast food, clothing, gifts, appliances, home improvement, entertainment and more! In most cases, SCRIP looks just like the cards you would buy in your favorite store as a gift.

The difference between the full face value and what we originally paid is a rebate that we share with you 50-50. Each April we ask you to tell us where we should direct your 50% share of the rebate. Some of the ways to put that rebate to use is:

· Take your rebate amount off your last FACTS payment or put it toward your tuition account for next year here and at area high schools.

· Send your rebate to a school committee or cause such as Athletics, Technology or Tuition Assistance.

· Send your rebate to HASA (Home & School Association) to help with special events and classroom supplies for our school that the budget may not cover.

· Send your rebate to another family here at Queen of Angels or another Catholic School to assist with their tuition such as grandchildren or nieces or nephews.

· Send your rebate to a Queen of Angels Parish Ministry such as the Rosary Society, Youth Group, Scouts, Landscaping, Social Concerns Committee, St. Vincent De Paul Society or to reduce the Parish Debt.

When to Buy SCRIP

· Send order & payment with school child on weekdays and in-stock, on-hand SCRIP will be sent home.

· In Rectory Monday morning 8:15– 11 am

· In the School Gym Kitchen on Wednesday & Friday 2:30-3:20 pm. Come at 2:30 pm and we’ll have you out by dismissal!

· After weekend Masses in hallway behind organ.
